My Why:
My name is Lauren Artis, and I am a certified K-6th teacher in the state of Florida. I homeschooled my own children before I started teaching at a school. My passion is helping parents find the ability to homeschool their children and providing support. I believe that if God has called you to homeschool then he will equip you with the means necessary. When I first started homeschooling my own children I started with my oldest in kindergarten, while I had 3 in diapers at home. Were the days easy? No, but they were the most blessed time that I have ever had with my babies.
March of 2022 our entire lives changed when our oldest son passed away after fighting cancer. Our world was turned upside down and one day as I was cleaning out my school room closet, I came across his portfolios that I had from him since kindergarten. I sat down on my school room floor and cried tears of how God had blessed that special time together. Not only did we have time together that was blessed, I feel that God used me to lay his foundation. Due to the time that we had at home together my son was better prepared for the battle that he was going to fight.
I started this foundation to provide other parents with the same blessing of being able to have their child home with them, but not being so overwhelmed that they cannot enjoy it. I pray that as we partner together to help lay your child’s foundation that you prayerfully seek what God is calling your family to do. I will stand firm on my foundation of God’s word to help give you the blessings and joys of being able to have your children home with you every day.
Every child and family is prayed for just as if they are my own.
Our mission is to see each child through God’s eyes, to be able to adjust accordingly where each child is in their education and have an educational plan for each student to see them succeed. My plan is to pray for and over each student and family that joins our mission. Provide support for each child and family.
As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.
